Recipe Alert - Kumara Hash Browns

This recipe is simple and super yummy to have with your breakfast or as a post training snack.

Kumara Hash Browns

















Ingredients:


1 1/2 cups of grated raw Red Kumara (no skin)
1/3 cup of grated Cheese
Pinch of Sea Salt
1 Egg

Extras: You could add onion, bacon or other veges if you want to spice it up a bit.

Method:

Mix together well in a bowl, it will be a slightly dry mixture as there isn't heaps on Egg to go around.

Place spoonfuls in a medium hot fry pan. If you need to oil the pan use Coconut Oil but not too much as it makes them wet.

Fry either side for about 5 minutes. They need to cook well so if you not sure, keep cooking.

Makes about 6 or 7 Hash Browns.
