Eating at My House......

My name is Sara and I am the Nutrition Coach at Simple Tasty Nutrition and CrossFit Christchurch, New Zealand. 

It's really easy to talk about what we should eat and why, but putting it into practice can be a little harder! Especially when feeding children...

This blog is designed to show you how I feed my family a GRAIN FREE diet on a moderate budget. 

When is comes to Nutrition I advocate a Paleo Diet plus Dairy Products, which is often referred to as Primal Eating.

The Nutrition Principle are Simple:

- NO GRAINS
- MINIMAL, WHERE POSSIBLE NO, PROCESSED FOODS

Here is what we eat:

- Meat, Chicken, Fish
- Vegetables, Fruit
- Dairy Products
- Coconut Products
- Nuts, Seeds

My Family:

Husband - Peter, 2 year old son Elias and myself.

Food Budget:

Approx $200(NZD) per week, some weeks are more with bulk orders and others are less.

  3. I read through blog today and I enjoyed it. Lots of good ideas even if it took me some time to figure out the word you use for sweet potatoes there :)
